GET TO KNOW ME

I am a UX/UI Designer, Graphic Designer, Artist, and Entrepreneur currently based in NH.  This past year, I’ve succumbed many life-altering changes that redirected me to start my own small, side business, Manifest - Art & Design LLC. My small business is a slight twist on the normal freelance design business. I invested in a sublimation printer and a heat press to learn how to sublimate apparel so I could design my own apparel for my personal brand and for others. From there, I chose to include additional freelance design services whether that is UX / UI Design, Web Design, Custom Apparel, Presentations, etc.

I am a firm believer that we have the power to create our own reality, so starting this business was a personal challenge for myself to actualize my goals into reality and in return, I’d be able to design for others that need are in need of a helping hand. So far, I’ve been able to help family and friends with their design requests. I’m looking forward to growing my business so I can help more people that can’t afford agency pricing, but are seeking quality support.

When I'm not designing, you can find me traveling to new places, staying active, working at my sister’s after school art studio helping with classes and parties, golfing with my boyfriend, learning about astrology (yes, I am “THAT ASTROLOGY GIRL”), cooking, baking, or even just spending quality time with my family and friends.

What is your past work experience?

With 9+ years of college & professional design related experience, I have created a skill set that has allowed me to help others actualize design requests. I graduated in May of 2018 at Roger Williams University with a B,A Graphic Design Communications degree and a Marketing minor.  I also concentrated my studies in Visual Arts: Drawing/Painting/Printmaking and Film Studies. After college, I completed a UX Design certificate program at American Graphics Institute.

With this newfound skillset, I brought my knowledge to Emergo by UL, a consulting firm, as a junior level UX/UI Designer where I designed user interfaces for medical / cyber security websites, mobile applications, instructional manuals, and packaging. After year one, I was promoted to a mid-level User Interface Designer where I took on more responsibility leading layout and illustration design for medical manuals and also leading the UX team during design sprints for RAMS, a SaaS platform.

My most recent role was at Matter Communications where I was the first-hired UX Designer for their creative department. I lead the team designing sitemaps, low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity wireframes for tech, consumer, and marketing companies, while also providing UX / UI insight to the creative team rooted in industry leading best practices.

What are you looking for in your next position?

I am currently seeking a Part-Time Design role that will provide creative growth and structure to my weekly routine.
